FAQ – Frequently asked questions

What happens if there aren’t many participants?

The workshop is guaranteed to go ahead as long as there are at least 2 participants. If only one person signs up, I will reach out directly to offer either a full refund or the option to reschedule for a later date when more participants are available.

Can I attend online instead of in person?

This workshop is designed to be hands-on and in person, to make sure everyone gets proper guidance and support. However, in exceptional cases (and with a valid reason), I can offer the option to join via video call. Please note that I strongly encourage in-person attendance to get the most out of the experience.

What happens if I can’t attend on the day?

Life happens — I totally get it. If you can’t make it to the workshop, please let me know as soon as possible. Depending on the timing, I can offer a refund or a credit to join a future session.
If something unexpected comes up last-minute, feel free to reach out. In some cases, and if you have a good reason, I can exceptionally allow you to join remotely via video — but I strongly recommend attending in person for the best experience.

What if I need to cancel my spot?

If you can no longer attend, please let me know as soon as possible. Depending on how early you cancel, I might be able to offer a refund or credit for a future session (see terms and conditions for full details).

Do I need any technical skills to join?

Not at all! This workshop is made for entrepreneurs, freelancers and small business owners — no coding required. I’ll guide you step-by-step using simple tools like WordPress and Elementor.

What should I bring?

Please bring your own laptop — you’ll be working directly on your own site during the session. A charger and a notebook (if you like taking notes) are also recommended.
⚠️ Please note: if you don’t already have website hosting, you’ll need to purchase it yourself (I’ll provide recommendations in advance). This ensures that you have full access and control over your site at all times. Wi-Fi and everything else will be provided on-site!

I don’t have a hosting provider yet — is that a problem?

Not at all! If you haven’t sorted out your hosting yet, we can set it up together during the workshop. I usually recommend Hostinger for its simplicity and affordability — perfect for getting started. I’ll walk you through the setup step-by-step, so you’ll leave the session with everything ready to go.

Do I need a WordPress subscription?

Nope! WordPress itself is completely free. You only need a web hosting plan to install it — and we’ll take care of all that together during the workshop.

I don’t use WordPress, can I still join the workshop?

While the workshop is centred around WordPress, it also covers much more than just how to use a tool. We’ll talk about design guidelines, user experience, structure, and even website security, things that apply no matter what platform you use.
That said, I do recommend this workshop especially for those who plan to use WordPress, as the hands-on part is built around it. But if you’re curious and want to improve your overall website strategy, you’re absolutely welcome!
